New payment and ticketing solutions based on contactless technology like Near Field Communication (NFC) are being launched in markets throughout the world.


In the ecosystem of stakeholders within mobile contactless payments and ticketing, a new role is needed: the trusted service manager (TSM). The trusted service manager´s role is to provide a single point of contact between the mobile operators and the service providers, and to manage the mobile NFC application on behalf of the service provider.


TSM Nordic AS is owned by Telenor, the largest Norwegian mobile operator, and DnB NOR, the largest Norwegian financial institution through joint venture company Doorstep AS.
